maybe they have to do something special that regular programs can't? (By the way, I ended up asking by myself, twice, on OBS forums after seeing so few others knew about this, and never got a response)Īctually, I've only seen the "good" encoder being used in products made by intel or microsoft so. This is really frustrsting me since it's the only way I can record my games but I can't stream to e.g., twitch with game bar, and I also can't use my mic in intel graphics command center. Also, this may potentially be related to the "New Quicksync Encoder" inteoduced in OBS v26 (but is disabled for me thanks to "lack of nv12 texture support"), because someone on Github asked about it and got redirected to OBS support forums which may imply that it's a feature they already have/added. In Game DVR and Intel graphics command center the GPU usage shows that "Video processing" is being used in the GPU, whatever that may be. I've noticed the same thing happens with recording in Intel Graphics Command Center.
